Award winning Claymoon Copper, was created in 2001 by the husband & wife team of
David & Judy Hedblom. It has evolved & grown from Judy's love of copper & its infinite
applications, along with David's experience with woodworking and clay media. Unique,
contemporary designs created from a unique, fascinating process.

All of our wall hangings are hand punched, hammered, sanded, & fired with numerous gases & torch tips. The colorations are achieved from heat & buffing techniques that
create deep, flowing designs often described as holographic & 3 dimensional. There
are no chemicals, acids or paints used in the coloration process. Quality wooden frames
for supporting the copper are also custom made in our studio and the final step is sealing the copper with a non-toxic, environmentally friendly sealant. Our larger pieces are
powder coated to ensure UV protection & lasting beauty.

Although our sealants are made for exterior use, we suggest that all of our wall hangings
be hung on interior walls.
